This wasn\u2019t just me working early for cookie\u2019s sake. They started with creaming the butter (lots of butter) and sugar (I also added a pinch of salt), then adding vanilla and then gradually adding flour. Then a generous amount of coconut (one cup) is stirred in).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.womansconed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/IMG-0979.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"995\" src=\"https:\/\/www.womansconed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/IMG-0979.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3693\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.womansconed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/IMG-0979.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.womansconed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/IMG-0979-226x300.jpg 226w, https:\/\/www.womansconed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/IMG-0979-113x150.jpg 113w, https:\/\/www.womansconed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/IMG-0979-400x531.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of shaping the dough into a log, the dough is shaped into a long-ish, well, brick. They were tender, slightly crispy-edged and just faintly sweet, with that nutty coconut adding just the right amount of taste and a little bit of texture. They were the perfect shape to dip into tea or coffee. I had a feeling these would come my way again.
